WEC to activate load control for H2O Plus participants

Due to predicted extremely low temperatures, the load control device on WEC's H2O Plus water heaters will be activated for a 2-hour period from 5:30 to 7:30 a.m. on Wed., Jan. 4.  Water heaters will restart in time to maintain plenty of hot water in the tanks.

By managing energy usage when demand is high (when WEC's members are using the most electricity), our wholesale power supplier can reduce demand during those times when energy is most expensive -- helping us make wise energy use a reality.
