Child ID Kits

Wiregrass Electric has partnered with the Houston County Sheriff's Department and the Dothan Police Department to bring a child identification program to our service area.

The program will provide the parents of all Kindergarten students a kit to document vital information about their child. This information, including fingerprints and a DNA sample, could help officers in their search for missing children.

The kits were distributed at the National Peanut Festival, and will be distributed through school systems throughout the year.
